Program Timeline
Learning Aid Ohio is a program created to support students with disabilities by providing access to meaningful learning opportunities in response to remote learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
August 2020
Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) created the Supplemental Learning Initiative to meet the needs of their families.
October 2020
Governor Dewine and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities partners with DSACO to offer Learning Aid Ohio (formally known as Supplemental Learning Initiative) to students on IEPs and 504 Plans across the state.
